Alongside the cottage is a store with access behind where you will find a wooden deck overlooking the valley of the Doustre. There are two smaller buildings and a strip of uneven scruffy graveled garden. Beware rickety stone steps from footpath. The countryside around La Roche Canillac is very beautiful and varied, mostly wooded on the steep valley sides and with lakes on the plateau. The river Doustre is a “premier 1” trout river and many of the lakes have quantities of trout, pike, perch and huge carp.

Rentals:- For 2 people From 16:00 hrs Saturday to 10:00 hrs Saturday. No linen provided. Linen hire available A non refundable deposit of 25% to reserve, the balance paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. No extra charges for electricity , gas or water, a charge of £25.00 is made for cleaning.

The cottage is classified 1 epie in "Gites de France" meaning  simple  but  pleasant accommodation. Pillows and blankets provided, you must bring your own linen. [sheets towels pillow cases etc.] Parking in cul de sac in front of the cottage. Mobile reception is good.
